Exactly 4 hours ago, Rockstar officially released the 1:30 long trailer GTA VI, a game that players have been waiting for for 10 long years. Immediately, this trailer received the attention of many gamers, reaching more than 3 million views to date.
The trailer confirms many small details that were previously revealed about GTA VI over the past two years, including a Vice City setting, the participation of the series’ first female protagonist, and a story inspired by Bonnie and Clyde. If you don’t know, Bonnie and Clyde are a notorious American criminal couple. Their romantic yet flawed love story has become the inspiration for many different stories and movies.

The trailer also shows that GTA VI is expected to be released in 2025 on both PS5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
The press release released by Rockstar also has a very brief description of the game. Specifically: “Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, the neon-lit streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most exciting development of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”.

GTA VI’s release process was filled with leaks. Earlier this year, a teenager from the UK was found responsible for last year’s leak that distributed 90 videos from the game’s development. Additionally, this week, a video on TikTok was reported to be leaked footage of GTA VI, posted by the child of a Rockstar employee. The TikTok videos (which as of press time are still available) feature footage of a computer screen showing wide shots of the game’s setting.
