Netflix revealed plans to release The Witcher season 3 and prequel Blood Origin

Geralt of Rivia will be back in The Witcher part 3 in summer 2023. Netflix A specific launch date may be revealed in the coming months. Production of The Witcher 3 only recently ended and like part 1, filming of part 3 was also interrupted due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The announcement was announced by the person playing Geralt, actor Henry Cavill, during Netflix’s recent Tudum event. Part 3 has the following summary: “When royalty, wizards and Continental monsters all fight to capture Ciri, Geralt takes her to find refuge. The monster hunter is determined to protect her. her newly reunited family against those bent on destroying it. Yennefer, who is tasked with instructing Ciri in magic, leads the two to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where she hopes to discover discover more about her untapped power. But contrary to what they expected, the three characters set foot on a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic and betrayal. They must fight Pay back, fight with all your might, otherwise the three of you risk losing each other forever.”

About The Witcher: Blood Origin, this prequel will be released on Christmas Day – December 25, 2022. This is a new prequel, set in the Elven world, 1200 years before the events of The Witcher. Blood Origins stars Michelle Yeoh as Scian, the last survivor of an Elven tribe, on a mission to recover a stolen sword; Sophia Brown as Eile, who was once a member of the Queen’s guard but is now a wandering musician; and Laurence O’Fuarain as Fjall, who comes from a warrior clan.
