To the surprise of many people, actor Henry Cavill will not continue playing the role Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher series belong to Netflix. Another newly announced piece of information is that this show will have a fourth season, although Cavill will not be present. On October 29, Netflix announced that actor Liam Hemsworth will take on this role. The reason for Henry Cavill’s departure is currently unconfirmed, but some speculate that it may be related to Cavill’s return to the role of Superman.
The actor who plays Superman said, “My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventure. I will retire in Part 4. I pass the torch.” with homage to Geralt’s time and enthusiasm for Liam, who will take on the character’s most compelling and nuanced role yet.”
Actor Liam Hemsworth also shared a few things about his audition story: “As a Witcher fan, I am extremely happy to have the opportunity to transform into Geralt of Rivia. Henry Cavill is a Geralt amazing and I’m honored to have him hand me the reins and the White Wolf sword in this next chapter of my adventure.”
The Witcher third part is expected to air in the summer of 2023 and fans will still have the opportunity to enjoy Geralt as played by Henry Cavill in this part.
