Nearly a year since its reveal, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is finally scheduled to release on June 21. The trailer lifts the curtain on what fans can expect from the expansion Shadow of the Erdtree. In just three minutes, the trailer revealed a series of enemies and new challenges that players will face.
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will take players Land of Shadows, the land that lies hidden in the shadow of Erdtree and has been burned by Messmer’s fire. This is implied to be where Tarnished will meet Miquella, the entity located in the egg in Mohgwyn Palace. Fans will have to experience the DLC for themselves to confirm this conjecture.
Fans can pre-order the expansion for $39.99 USD (799,999 VND). This DLC also has a deluxe version that comes with a digital artbook and game music. If pre-ordered, players will receive an ingame gesture called the Ring of Miquella.
The Tarnished will have 121 days to prepare for the DLC, plenty of time to complete the base game, power up existing characters, or start over to prepare for their exploration of the Shadowlands. Bandai Namco confirmed that Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will be available on Xbox, PlayStation and PC on June 21. The Game of the Year Bundle and Collector’s Edition will launch at the same time.
