Number of Elden Ring players on Steam has increased significantly since the expansion Shadow of the Erdtree was revealed, nearly double what it was just a week ago. Excitement for the expansion Elden Ring has been in the community for a while now, and the first look at the new content is really keeping fans coming back and potentially attracting new players.
In the past 24 hours, Elden Ring has peaked at 81,361 players after hovering around 30,000-40,000 just a week ago. Elden Ring’s player base has remained fairly stable almost two years after launch and will likely increase again when Shadow of the Erdtree releases on June 21. This DLC will bring a variety of new content to Elden Ring from enemies, weapons, attacks, equipment as well as a new story.
The Best Games of 2022 continue to enjoy sales success. Elden Ring sold 23 million copies just one day after the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC trailer was released. This trailer has currently reached more than 7.7 million views on Bandai Namco’s YouTube channel.
