Bethesda “moved home” to Steam

According to the company, starting in early April, users launcher Bethesda.net will be able to transfer games and Wallets to the account Steam. Users own the game through the Launcher Bethesda.net will not lose data from their Bethesda.net account. Game progress and save files for games will also be migrated, but users will need to manually migrate certain games. For games that require manual movement, users will still use their old account information on Bethesda.net to log in in-game. The Bethesda.net account will not disappear and will still be accessible on the website and in-game. Bethesda will share detailed migration instructions in April.

Until May, users can still access and play on Launcher Bethesda.net, but the publisher advises that the “move” should be done as soon as the official migration process begins. Users will not lose access to the Library on Bethesda.net in May, but they will not be able to play games on this Launcher.

Additionally, when transferring your Bethesda.net library to your Steam account, all virtual currency balances and add-ons like DLC or in-game skins will be automatically migrated. Games with Bethesda.net Friends Lists will be merged after migration (incl Fallout 76Doom Eternal, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, The Elder Scrolls: Legends, Rage 2 and Deathloop).
