Solo Leveling, a popular Korean webtoon, is being adapted anime and is expected to launch in 2023. The series tells the story of Jinwoo – a weak hunter tasked with protecting humans from monsters raging around the world. The famous studio behind Erased and Sword Art Online, A-1 Pictures, will be responsible for producing this film.
2. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2
Jujutsu Kaisen made a big splash in the anime fan community in 2020 with the adaptation made by Studio Mappa. The plot of Jujutsu Kaisen revolves around high school student Yuji Itadori. After eating the finger of a high-level Cursed Object, an ordinary student like Itadori suddenly possesses peak magical power. After that, he must transfer to Tokyo Magic School and begin his journey to fight against dangerous Cursed Souls. Jujutsu Kaisen 2 will continue the ongoing story based on the Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu storyline and the Shibuyta Incident of manga.
3. Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 3
Attack on Titan: The Final Season part 3 will be the final episode closing the long journey of this world-famous anime series. The Final Season part 2 has reached chapter 133, so maybe this final part will bring to the screen the content of the last 9 chapters of the series. Surely this will be a name that anime fans cannot ignore this year.
4. Vinland Saga Season 2
Just like Attack on Titan, Vinland Saga 2 will be produced by Studio MAPPA instead of Studio WIT. In part 2, the audience will participate in the growth journey of the character Thorsfinn from being a boy engulfed in hatred to becoming a young man who is losing his purpose in life. The series has a duration of 24 episodes and was just released on January 9.
5. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation 2
The main character of Mushoku Tensei is a 34-year-old Japanese man reincarnated in another world as Rudeus Greyrat – a person extremely skilled in magic. In part 2, Greyrat is still a teenager and studying at Ranoa magic academy.
The film will be produced by Studio Blind and directed by Manabu Okamoto. He was widely known for works such as Darling in the Franxx, Akame ga Kill! And Re:Zero.
