Bushiroad Games and Eighting introduced six playable characters in the title fighting games Hunter X Hunter Nen X Impact upcoming. In December last year, fans Hunter X Hunter received a surprise announcement at the Jump Festa 2024 event about a collaboration between publisher Bushiroad Games and developer Eighting to create a fighting game based on the popular manga/anime series. This is the first fighting game that focuses solely on the Hunter X Hunter cast of characters. Previous HxH themed games were either role-playing games or mobile games.
Eighting is a veteran fighting game developer, with experience from games such as Naruto: Clash of Ninja, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and DNF Duel (2022). Hunter X Hunter fans are excited to hear that Eighting will take on a development role Nen X Impact and this excitement increased even more after the first images of the game were revealed.
Bushiroad Games has released a short trailer for Hunter X Hunter Nen , Killua Zoldyck, Kurapika, Leo Paradinight, Hisoka Morow and Issac Netero.
The first trailer shows that Hunter X Hunter Nen X Impact is a team fighting game in which players fight in groups of three. Gon, Leo and Netero form a team and face off against Killua, Kurapika and Hisoka’s team. The trailer does not reveal much about the gameplay, so players still cannot determine whether Nen X Impact will be a 2D 3v3 team fighting game similar to Dragon Ball FighterZ or will be a 3v3 anime arena like Jump Force.
