Moon StudiosDevelopers Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, recently revealed its next project at The Game Awards 2023. The new game is called No Rest for the Wicked and will be the studio’s first foray into genre ARPG.

No Rest for the Wicked is a far cry from the Ori games while still being recognized as a Moon Studios game. The game takes place in a beautiful, vertical painting-like world filled with hidden treasures, fierce monsters, and lots of quests. The game also features intense action combat elements that require players to practice, hone their skills, and time their controls.

The game’s setting takes place in the year 841 in the kingdom of Isola Sacra, right when the king died. The transfer of power to the successor quickly became tense and turned into conflict, and a plague struck the island nation, causing the appearance of diseased animals.

Players can fight monsters and enemy armies alone or team up with up to three other players in online Co-op mode to work together to overcome challenges. No Rest for the Wicked will be released by Private Division. The game is expected to enter early access on PC in Q1 2024 and will then be fully released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S. The developer will share more information about the game play on March 1 in a showcase called “Wicked Inside” that airs on YouTube and Twitch.
