Project Birdseye is a game roguelike action set in the same universe as 2022’s survival horror game Striking Distance Studios . The developer said the project is being worked on by a small team at the studio in parallel with a follow-up AAA game.

We are excited to introduce to you a project we are working on. Since the game is still in development, its internal name is Project Birdseye. This is a fast action roguelike experience set in Black Iron Prison.
Last year, a small team began work on this passion project, which was born from our obsession with the fun but difficult to master Roguelike genre. We love the world we’ve created for The Callisto Protocol and want to continue exploring it, and Black Iron Prison is the perfect future playground for the development team’s new vision.
You may realize that this is not the case The Callisto Protocol 2 – think of it as a side quest that demonstrates the value of the development team – it allows us to expand the world of Callisto Protocol and flex our creativity on something a little different without influence the development of the next AAA game.
Because most of the post-launch journey of The Callisto Protocol are shaped by the community, so we want to engage everyone in the early stages of development to see if this project piques your interest as much as it does ours.
