At the event CES 2024, MSI shared more information about Claw – the company’s new handheld gaming device. The use of Intel Meteor Lake processors to power the Handheld gaming PC New is an interesting choice. Currently, besides Ayaneo, other handheld gaming PCs on the market such as Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion Go Both use AMD CPUs.

MSI Claw Has a 7-inch FHD IPS screen with 120Hz refresh rate, the same length as the Asus screen ROG Ally. MSI’s gaming device has an appearance quite similar to Asus’s ROG Ally with only some color differences. Claw wears a black shirt with highlights on the A, B, X, Y buttons that can change RGB colors.

MSI equips the Claw with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and integrated Intel Arc graphics. The device weighs 675 grams and is heavier than the Asus ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion Go as well as both Steam Deck models. Storage capacity can be up to 1TB SSD and includes a MicroSD card slot to expand storage capabilities. The highlight of MSI Claw lies in its battery performance. This device has an impressive battery life of up to 2 hours under full operating conditions thanks to the 53Whr battery.

MSI is the latest name to enter the handheld gaming PC market. Although some companies like Ayaneo have been making this type of device for a long time, the handheld gaming PC market only heated up when Valve released the Steam Deck two years ago. MSI Claw is expected to be released in the first half of 2024. Readers can learn more about MSI Claw here.
