Naughty Dog officially announced The Last of Us Part II Remastered for PS5 follows a series of previous leaks about the game. The game will be released on January 19, 2024. If you already own The Last of Us part II on PS4, players can upgrade to the latest version. Remaster digitally for $10 USD and transfer saved files from the original.
The Remaster will add a “roguelike survival mode” called No Return designed to allow players to show off their skills in random encounters and experience The Last of Us part II in a new way batch. Players can also transform into a number of new characters, participating in different battles from fighting head-on to hiding against many enemies filled with new and surprising elements.
In terms of technical improvements, the developer says the game offers 4K graphics in fidelity mode, 1440p upscaling to 4K when in performance mode, and if users are using a VRR-enabled TV, the device will have frame rate unlock option. The Last of Us Part II Remaster also improved loading times and updated DualSense features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
Outside New roguelike modeplayers can also experience a free guitar mode with a variety of instruments as well as some incomplete levels that were cut from the original game, see the developer’s comments on these levels, main campaign cutscenes and speedrun mode.
