The first title of this deal is titled “シャイニング・フォース~光と闇の英雄~”, officially translated as Shining Force: Heroes of Light and Darkness. There are still no exact details about this game, but HIVE has confirmed that it will belong to the familiar simulation RPG genre. SRPG: Simulation Role Playing Game is where players can nurture other characters in a unique world. Shining Force: Heroes of Light and Darkness is expected to enter Closed Beta in early 2022 before launching globally the same year.

Once a big brand of SEGA when it first appeared on Genesis 1992, Shining Force has now quickly “changed its skin” when switching from a battle game with role-playing elements to a more popular role-playing action format.
