Rurouni Kenshin: The Final – The pinnacle of swordplay action is here

Adapting stories to movies, even if they are good novels manga black and white, always brings countless controversies in the fan community. Some people witness unbelievable success because of the perfect combination of originality and breakthrough. Some were engulfed by a storm of criticism for changing the entire plot, becoming nothing more than a spin-off and hybrid product.

Rurouni Kenshin: The Final represents the first part when giving fans of the legendary Manga series the opportunity to witness a rare and hard-to-find masterpiece of film adaptation. It’s not even an exaggeration to call Rurouni Kenshin: The Final like a Katana version of John Wick with top-notch action scenes.

Not to mention the plot and how accurately it is presented compared to the original, the film soon surprised viewers with its swordplay performances that surpassed those of the previous 3 films. Perhaps everyone after enjoying The Final will assert that the battle between Kenshin and Enishi can be considered a new pinnacle of martial arts choreography in cinema.

The blades attack like storms, the moves of throwing the body to dodge attacks or gliding on the ground, combining grace with crazy power on the enemy’s body… all create worthy action scenes. Artistic vision is like a magnet, drawing viewers’ eyes to the screen. That is what Rurouni Kenshin has brought through the previous 3 films and is now enhanced with The Final.
