New trailer of Project Eve appear in PlayStation Showcase along with a series of videos introducing many blockbusters such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Alan Wake Remastered, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and Uncharted Legacy of Thieves. Project Eve was first announced in 2019 and the developer SHIFT UP Corporation said the game will have a PC version.
At first glance, Project Eve is an action role-playing game with a similar style Bayonetta or Nier. In the trailer, main character Eve is constantly moving, turning and flipping while fighting a giant monster. The monsters in Project Eve are designed quite interestingly. They have a bizarre appearance, are equipped with saw blades and possess countless eyes.
Regarding gameplay, director Kim Hyung Tae shared on the PlayStation blog that the character Eve will “gain Beta Gauge (BG) by blocking and dodging enemy attacks during combat.” Players can use BG to learn skills like super armor penetration, perform fast aoe attacks, break enemy combos, and many more. BG is also used to activate buffs and powerful attacks such as a critical stab. In addition to gameplay, fashion features are also focused on by the developer. Players can equip a variety of stylish outfits for the character Eve.
