Konami officially announced two Yu-Gi-Oh! new

Last night, the famous Japanese game publisher Konami organized a livestream event Yu-Gi-Oh! Digital Next. Within the framework of the program, Konami also introduced to players two new games under this IP: Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel and Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel.

According to a brief introduction from Konami, Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel will be a title card game launching on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android and PC (via Steam). Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is also the first game in the franchise to support up to 4K resolution. Konami also plans to organize a world championship tournament for this game.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel is a card game that supports up to 4 players. The game will be released on iOS and Android. For the time being, the developer has kept the details as well as the specific launch date of the game confidential.​


Besides announcing two new games, Konami also revealed more information about other names in the Yu-Gi-Oh! family. Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Saikyо̄ Battle Royale!! is expected to be available on Nintendo Switch on August 12 in Japan and coming to Western markets this fall. The game includes characters from Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens, the anime premiered in April 2020.
