Horizon Forbidden West – PS5 masterpiece suddenly had its release date pushed back

Horizon Forbidden West may miss the 2021 holiday deadline and instead, the game will be released around early 2022.

Guerrilla Games previously said they were unsure about plans to release the game in 2021. In June, PlayStation Studios head Herman Hulst shared that while the game was on schedule to be ready for the holidays this year, but that’s not entirely certain yet: “For Horizon, we think we’re on track to release this holiday season. But that’s not completely certain yet and we’re working as hard as we can to confirm this information with players as soon as possible.”
