This movie is adapted from the story Gekijo-ban Jujutsu Kaisen 0, set before the main story begins. To warm up the atmosphere before the movie’s release, the producer of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 recently announced new looks for the main characters in the movie.
This time instead of the clear black eyepatch manga, the national teacher Gojo Satoru appeared again with a white bandage wrapped around his forehead and covering his right eye. This image appeared in the latest teaser of the movie and caused a lot of controversy in the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom. In addition to Gojo Satoru, the producer also announced the appearance of the main character Yuta Okkotsu along with Zenin Maki, Inumaki Toge and Panda.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is considered a prequel to Jujutsu Kaisen, revolving around the boy Yuta Okkotsu. Yuta Okkotsu had a close childhood friend, Rika, but she unfortunately passed away in a traffic accident. Since then, Rika’s soul has always followed Yuta. Unlike the image of a sweet girl in the past, Rika is now a monstrous and powerful entity. Powerless to stop Rika’s bloody acts, Yuta was eventually captured by Jujutsu witches. Here, the sorcerer master Gojo Satoru sent Yuta to Jujutsu High School to learn how to control Rika and help everyone.
The movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is produced by MAPPA, directed by Park Sung Hoo. The film is expected to be released on December 24 this year.
