Not just simple nightmares, Nhat Huy decided to perform Lucid Dream to find out the truth.
Lucid Dream or Lucid Dreaming occurs when a person is fully aware that he or she is dreaming and can remember all the details and emotions after waking up. In the dream, Nhat Huy found himself in an old apartment, where his family used to live. The center of the scene is the room of a shaman, who is said to have the ability to perform rituals to relieve death, relieve drought, and especially pray for noble children.
At the ceremony to pray for a son, the image of two wooden puppets continued to appear and as Nhat Huy recorded in his Dream Diary, these were the representations of his family. Recalling the old photo found in Nhat Huy’s room, it seemed like this was a photo of a family of four. Although it’s not clear, it can be seen that the center of the photo is the son, standing on both sides are his parents, the father even leans his head very close to his son. On the contrary, the younger sister stood at the edge, feeling lonely and lost, like an extra person.
This magician had appeared in the previous Teaser with a spell to pray for a child, followed by a newspaper with the prominent headline: “Mysterious magic to enchant an apartment”. It can be seen that the shaman is a quite important link in the plot of Calamity, it is likely that the tragedy of Nhat Huy’s family will be related to the evil “skills” of this character.
