CD Projekt confirmed that Sony has allowed its RPG to launch once again on the Store PlayStation. Sony also warns users that the system PS4 basically cannot bring experiences Cyberpunk 2077 most complete.
“SIE can confirm that Cyberpunk 2077 will be re-listed on the PlayStation Store starting June 21, 2021,” PlayStation said. CD Projekt Red is continuing to improve the game’s stability across all platforms. However, users may still experience some performance issues running Cyberpunk 2077 when using a base PS4 system. SIE recommends that players use PS4 Pro or PS5 for the best experience.”
As for CD Projekt, the company has released a regulatory notice as follows: “The management of CD Projekt SA, registered office in Warsaw, publicly announces the decision of Sony Interactive Entertainment to restore session availability Cyberpunk 2077 digital release on the PlayStation Store, effective June 21, 2021.”
The return of Cyberpunk 2077 is inevitable; CD Projekt reported a large profit decline in Q1. The developer continues to lose out on Cyberpunk 2077’s potential revenue from the PlayStation Store. CD Projekt noted that it wants to bring this revenue stream back as soon as possible – and now it’s happening.
