After nearly two months of launching, the illustration contest “Hanoi is…” has attracted nearly 250 young artists from both home and abroad to participate. The competition is organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat) organized with the companion of Vietnam Local Artist Group (VLAG).
The drawing contest “Hanoi is…” calls on young artists to promote the title “Hanoi – Creative City” awarded by UNESCO in 2019, with illustrative works about the Capital. With a suggestive theme, the authors have brought extremely surprising and new ideas, integrating many personal stories and emotions, portraying Hanoi with unique colors. Creative City corners are represented by diverse materials, such as digital painting, silk, collage, oil painting, lacquer…
