The PlayStation Showcase event recently organized by Sony brought a lot of new information about hot games being developed, including Forspoken belong to Square Enix – the game is known by another name, Project Athia. The newly released trailer of the game will lead players to the beautiful mysterious world of Athia, where the adventures of main character Frey Holland take place.
The trailer opens with the image of Frey Holland in the real world, now she is longing to go away and find somewhere better for herself. The turning point comes when she finds a strange bracelet and is taken to the world of Athia, where she must use her powers to survive many dangers ready to strike at any time.
The plot of Forspoken was written by Gary Whitta – screenwriter of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story – the movie considered by many Star Wars fans to be the best in the series. Besides, Whitta also has a lot of experience with video games, he has participated in handling scripts for many games such as Gears of War or Prey.
Forspoken is expected to release in spring 2022 on PS5 and PC. Early next year will certainly be an exciting time for PS5 players with the appearance of both Forspoken and the blockbuster Horizon Forbidden West belong to Guerrilla Games.
