Ubisoft updated information about Assassin’s Creed Red launch plans


Latest financial report of Ubisoft time has been confirmed release official next Assassin’s Creed game, titled Codename Red. Codename Red will be set in feudal Japan and has been anticipated by many gamers since Ubisoft’s reveal.

According to Ubisoft’s third quarter 2024 revenue report, Assassin’s Creed Red will be released in fiscal year 2025, which spans from April 2024 to March 2025. The previously leaked release date was November 2024, which falls in the middle of this window. Assassin’s Creed Red was officially revealed in 2022, so many fans of the series have been waiting for quite a while.


Previous comments from the developers have revealed that Red will be the first Assassin’s Creed title that is entirely from the current console generation, meaning the game will not release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Ubisoft is aiming to build a more dynamic version of the world, putting the player’s reactions as well as themselves as the focus as they go on their journey. Additionally, Ubisoft has previously confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Red will receive multiple expansions in the post-release period as well as undisclosed additional content.

Ubisoft’s financial statements also once again confirm that Star Wars Outlaws will be released at the end of 2024. Recently, an industry source shared that Ubisoft is aiming to release Star Wars Outlaws in May 2024. However, this is only a tentative timeline because Ubisoft has change the company’s game launch plan. Ubisoft describes the highly anticipated Star Wars Outlaws as a “milestone” in the gaming industry.​
