Blackpink is a music group Korean pop globally famous for hits such as “Kill This Love” (currently owning more than 1.3 billion views on YouTube) and “How You Like That” (more than 900 million views). PUBG is a shooting game battle royale blockbuster, recently renamed PUBG: Battlegrounds. There’s nothing more surprising than Blackpink and PUBG working together.
The PUBG Blackpink event runs from August 8 to September 7 and will include special missions designed to deliver Blackpink-themed fashion items. During the event, Blackpink-themed murals and decals will appear on PUBG maps. The item supply crates are also decorated with a Blackpink theme and emit pink smoke.
The items in the bundle are exclusive to each Blackpink member including hair, performance costumes, symbols, nameplates and weapons. However, the event’s fashion items will not directly use the images of the four female idols. However, this collaboration is still good news for fans of both Blackpink and PUBG.
