PARANORMASIGHT is getting a manga version, bringing the soul-stealing nightmare back to Tokyo

Possessing a plot full of plot twists and engaging storytelling, PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo – title horror game in Visual Novel style by Square Enix developed quickly to win the hearts of gamers who love the fantasy mystery genre. And after more than a year of release, the development team decided to thank fans by adapting PARANORMASIGHT into manga.

As revealed at the one-year launch anniversary event, the comic version of PARANORMASIGHT will use the main plot of the game as a basis to build a completely new sequel. The main artist of the series will be Momoyama Hinase – a magaka who has participated in many works such as Schoolgirl Strikers or Erisu no Seihai (Holy Grail of Eris)… Manga PARANORMASIGHT is expected to be released at the end of 2024.

PARANORMASIGHT is set in the Japanese capital Tokyo at the end of the 20th century; revolves around the “Resurrection Ritual” – a spell used by Onmyoji centuries ago to bring someone back to life. The main character Shogo Okiie is a young man working at a local soap factory. At night, he and his new friend Yoko Fukunaga went for a walk in the city park to learn about a famous ghost story: Honjo’s Seven Secrets.

Accordingly, those who hold relics representing these mysteries can kill others and then steal their souls to begin the resurrection ritual. At first Shogo did not believe in these legends, until he continuously witnessed strange phenomena, accompanied by a series of mysterious deaths in the city.
