One of the pioneering games in the genre open world There will be a sequel. Publisher THQ Nordic recently announced that Outcast: A New Beginning is expected to launch on March 15, 2024, a quarter of a century since the first game was released on June 25, 1999.
The game will follow the hero Cutter Slade Return to the fantasy alien world of Adelpha in an epic open world with some familiar RPG mechanics like skill trees and NPC dialogue. With an estimated playing time of about 30-35 hours, Outcast: A New Beginning is not only a sequel to the original game, but also a return point for new players and old fans alike.
Initially, the game’s name was Outcast 2but the name was later changed to reflect the manufacturer’s intention that this be a comprehensive action experience whether players have experienced Outcast 1 or the 2017 remaster. THQ Nordic even Press has gathered the original developers to help create the new game, so Outcast fans will be able to find some quality Easter Eggs in Outcast: A New Beginning.
Outcast: A New Beginning will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S (for $69.99 / £59.99) and PC (for $59.99 / £49.99).
