The series is also known as “Hiatus x Hiatus” (Pause x Pause).

Hunter x Hunter debuted in March 1998 and is currently being serialized, but is on hold for the time being due to the author’s health. A few years ago, mangaka Togashi said he was struggling with severe back pain, a disease that many manga authors encounter, and his condition would get worse when he sat down to draw. Although he has undergone surgery, it seems that his condition has not improved positively. Some fans believe that the reason for the delay may also be due to the author’s slow working speed. Not everyone can create a long-term series like mangaka Eiichiro Oda did with One Piece.
