Koei Tecmo has officially announced the latest installment in the game series Dynasty Warriors The studio’s long-running game, it’s a mobile action RPG. The hack-and-slash game series based on the history of the Three Kingdoms period has long been one of Koei Tecmo’s most recognizable franchises, starting on the PS1 in 1997. The developer has released nine games, of which Each installment often has enhanced versions such as Xtreme Legends which adds new game modes and Empires which brings a strategic element to the game. In the near future, this famous game series will expand into the field of mobile games.
This is not the first time the developer has brought Dynasty Warriors to the mobile market. During its heyday, Dynasty Warriors used to have many spinoff, including PSP ports and games developed specifically for the Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance. Dynasty Warriors M will combine the franchise’s traditional hack-and-slash combat with country management gameplay. Players can trade items in the game, although the game will not have a gacha system. Dynasty Warriors M has been test-launched in several countries in Southeast Asia and will be released globally later this year.
