Granblue Fantasy: Relink has sold over a million copies despite facing Persona and Yakuza

Granblue Fantasy: Relink sold more one million copies less than two weeks after launch. This achievement marks another huge sales milestone at a time when video games of many different genres are arriving one after another. To celebrate this special achievement, the official X account of Granblue Fantasy: Relink sent a thank you message to fans of the game and made promises about future updates to the game.

Granblue Fantasy first launched in 2014 in Japan as a turn-based role-playing game with an integrated gacha system for mobile devices. The game has achieved certain success, earning huge amounts of money every year. The sudden rise of IP has boosted Cygames expanded into various genres, including Arc System Work’s Granblue Fantasy: Versus and Cygames’ Granblue Fantasy: Relink.

Initially, the Relink project encountered some difficulties during implementation because Platinum Games (developer of Bayonetta, Nier Automata) could not continue to accompany the project. However, the game has overcome the above barriers and is attracting many gamers to experience.
