Fan God of War Ragnarok will experience one DLC brand new, free from december 12 called God of War Ragnarok Valhalla. Ragnarok failed to win the Game of the Year award at TGA 2022 but still won six categories. At The Game Awards 2023, the only information related to God of War Ragnarok that was confirmed in advance was the participation of the actor playing Kratos, Christopher Judge.
That’s why many of our audience TGA 2023 was shocked to see the trailer revealing God of War Ragnarok Valhalla, the completely free DLC that will release next week on PS4 and PS5. According to Geoff Keighley, the God of War Ragnarok Valhalla DLC will feature roguelike elements and promises to be an “emotional, surprising and exciting new twist”. The DLC trailer shows Kratos and Mimir fighting a number of uniquely shaped monsters, including cyclops, a familiar enemy from the God of War installments based on Greek mythology.
Many people may be surprised by the release decision DLC Valhalla Sony’s free God of War Ragnarok was a huge success in terms of sales so many fans will be happy to buy the game’s DLC. This free DLC will be the reason why God of War fans return to Ragnarok next week and experience new developments in Kratos’ journey.
Valhalla is a separate experience from Ragnarok, but to avoid spoilers, Sony Santa Monica recommends that players complete God of War Ragnarok first because the DLC serves as the conclusion to Ragnarok’s story.
