2023 is definitely a very strange year for the gaming industry, filled with countless titles from blockbusters to “trash”. Its successor, in 2024, does not know which of the two extremes mentioned above will go, but it has now “hinted” at a series of promising names. Hopefully they will respond to fans’ expectations, rather than being “failures” like Forspoken and Redfall in early 2023.

Big names landing in early 2024 include Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Helldivers 2Suicide Squad, Tekken 8 and Skull & Bones. In addition, there are many smaller games that are also worth looking forward to, such as the remake of Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons or Prince of Persia. All of them promise to bring players a new year full of excitement.
As a rule, the first months of the year are usually not the release time for major games, with a few exceptions (for example, Elden Ring launched in February 2022). Of course, that is not a good reason to make us shy about the quality of games released during this time period. In fact, the first months of 2023 are not without quality names, such as Hogwarts Legacy and Hi-Fi Rush. Right after the end of February, players will continue to “face” a series of blockbusters in March, namely Dragon’s Dogma 2, Homeworld 3, Princess Peach ShowtimeAlone in the Dark reboot and Rise of the Ronins. It can be said that any name on the above list has the opportunity to become a sumptuous party for gamers.
