It is known that due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the plan for this trio of remake games has changed somewhat. They were originally a bonus package for players who purchased the next-gen console versions of GTA 5 and GTA Online as a reward or thank you gift from the developer. Then the plan changed, Rockstar planned to release the trilogy early this year but in the end had to postpone it.
