A life simulation game set in the Baldur’s Gate 3 universe appears

Yesterday (March 14), developer Gameloft announced they are partnering with Hasbro and Wizard of the Coast (the companies that own the rights to Dugeons & Dragons) to develop a life simulation role-playing Dugeons & Dragons game. In particular, the game will be set in Forgotten Realms – where the events of Baldur’s Gate 3 take place.

Last year, Baldur’s Gate 3 became one of the best games of the year thanks to its attractive gameplay, engaging gameplay and intense battles. Meanwhile Dungeons & Dragons – a long-standing role-playing game brand on tablet computers, also suddenly became famous again thanks to the popularity of the Internet. So it’s not too surprising that a developer decided to incorporate Dungeons & Dragons into the Baldur’s Gate 3 universe.

More specifically, the studio responsible for developing the game will be Gameloft Montreal – the studio behind Disney Dreamlight Valley and Star Wars: Castaways. Gameloft said that this will be a combination of survival, life simulation and action role-playing genres.

Developer Gameloft does not reveal much information about the game, all players receive is just a “teaser” image. Perhaps gamers will have to wait a few more years to experience this promising combination product.
